Church was being built for a numb.er of years with the work completed
and sanctifıcation performed in 1872. It is one of the largest orthodox
temples in the Balkans, done by a Macedonian constructor Andrija
Damjanov. The church was built in the spiritofneo-Byzantine tradition
with some elements of west European styles (Baroquo bells).
